JUNEAU, Alaska, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- A naturalist shooting video of a grizzly bear in Alaska captured footage of the perturbed bruin taking out a GoPro camera with an annoyed swipe of his paw.

The video, posted to YouTube by GoPro, shows one of a pair of passing bears spy the GoPro camera from the corner of his eye and take a surprised step back.

The bear cautiously approaches the camera with slow steps, repeatedly getting close to the camera and quickly stepping back to ensure it isn't posing a threat.

The grizzly finally takes out the camera with a well-placed slap.

GoPro said the footage was shot by naturalist Brad Josephs in Alaska.

The bear was not the first of its kind to show its distaste for GoPro cameras -- videographer Dmitry Shpilenok captured footage recently of a bear in Russia curiously approaching a camera before grabbing the device in its huge jaws.
