Oregon police hunt the serial-defecating 'Portland Pooper'

PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Police in Oregon said they are searching for a stink-peddling suspect branded the "Portland Pooper" by a business owner who caught him on camera.

The business owner, who requested anonymity, caught the man on surveillance camera after he was allegedly seen defecating near the business owner's office on multiple occasions.

The owner, who shared the video with KOIN-TV, put the face of the "Portland Pooper" on flyers which were posted around the area and on social media.

Police said they are seeking the man for possible charges including offensive littering.

A worker at a gas station near the site of the Portland Pooper's last defecation said the man is a regular sight in the area.

"I think he's always over there in the bushes taking a dump and looking for pop cans," Sanchindra Nath told KOIN-TV. "I mean, he's a creep though. He has to be to do something like that."
