CAPE MAY, N.J., Aug. 14 (UPI) -- A New Jersey brewery is celebrating Pope Francis' upcoming Philadelphia visit with a pontiff-themed beer featuring "an unholy amount of hops."

The Cape May Brewing Company announced the pope-inspired beer, dubbed #YOPO -- "You Only Pope Once" -- will be released next month, just in time for the pontiff's planned visit to Philadelphia.

The brewery said on its website the beer, an IPA, contains "an unholy amount of hops -- about three pounds per barrel."

"The final product pairs great with a nice cut of Argentinean beef," CMBC sales rep Justin Vitti said.

CMBC President Ryan Krill said the beer is more than an attempt to cash in on Pope Francis' popularity.

"We're always looking for ways to push the envelope," he said. "At the same time, it's never a gimmick we're after. #YOPO will get a laugh from pop culture enthusiasts, sure, but it's also a tasty and layered beer in its own right."
