LONDON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- A British technology vlogger posted a video showing how to use household items to transform a smartphone into a 3-D hologram projector.

YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss posted a video showing how a 3-D hologram can be projected from a smartphone screen using a small accessory created using graph paper, a CD case, tape or super glue, a pen, scissors and a knife.

The video shows how the user created the a rhombus template on graph paper and used the shape to create four identical pieces of plastic from the CD case.

Mrwhosetheboss then fastened the pieces together and set them on the phone, which played a YouTube video designed for hologram use.
