LURGAN, Northern Ireland, July 30 (UPI) -- A Northern Ireland teenager managed to kick a soccer ball through a letter in a supermarket sign in a video going viral on social media.

Eoghan O'Hagan was with his cousin, Diarmuid O'Hagan, and friend Eoin McCluskey when the group decided to film Eoghan's attempt to kick his soccer ball through the "O" in the "Tesco" sign over the door to the supermarket in the town of Lurgan.

"I guess we were bored, so we thought it would be a sick shot to pull off and he did it!" Diarmuid O'Hagan told the Lurgan Mail. "It was his second attempt -- the first time, it bounced back off the 'C,' and the second time, it went through the 'O.'"

The teens sent the video to popular British website Unilad, where it quickly went viral with more than 20,000 Likes.

The boys said they do not know if workers at the Tesco store were aware of the stunt.

"The staff are bound to have seen it by now," Diarmuid said. "Pretty much everyone has!"
