The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office released a video Monday on YouTube using an animation style reminiscent of South Park to bring photos of real dogs to life for the "#BuddyDogSays Dogs Die In Hot Cars" video. "I feel like when you have the serious videos with sad music, it sometimes gets tuned out," district attorney's office spokesman Chris Lee told the Desert Dispatch newspaper. "I feel like because we used humor, people will be more apt to listen to it." Leaving an animal in a car in San Bernardino county can lead to a $100 fine and misdemeanor charges for repeat offenders.
