MONTERREY, Mexico, July 1 (UPI) -- A woman seen in a viral video climbing into a Mexican zoo's crocodile enclosure and poking one of the reptiles has been banned from the park, officials said.

A video shared on since-deleted Facebook account Stacy Boo shows a woman, identified by authorities as Stacy Alejandra Torres Cuellar, climbing into the crocodile enclosure at Zoo La Pastora in Monterrey.

Cuellar, encouraged by friends off-camera, approaches one of the animals and pokes it, inciting the crocodile to snap at her leg.

The woman falls backward and avoids the croc's jaws. She runs to a back wall and climbs to safety.

Zoo coordinator Gustavo Sepulveda said Cuellar is now banned from returning to the zoo.
