'Badass' retired Marine pilot buys his own Harrier jet

CALIFORNIA, Md., May 29 (UPI) -- A video posted to YouTube shows how a retired U.S. Marine Corps pilot obtained his own Harrier fighter jet to fly as a civilian.

The video, "Badass Pilot Buys Own Fighter Jet," was posted to YouTube by the AARP channel and quickly went viral with more than 700,000 views in a week.

The video details how Art Nalls purchased a British Harrier Jump Jet.

"I can't believe I just bought a Harrier," Nalls says in the video. "There's not many wives that would support there husband 100 percent on a project like this."

Nalls said he now owns three Harriers.

The video's description reads:

"Art Nalls has had a life long dedication to flying. His addiction to the sky has lead him to an honorable military career and an even more adventurous retirement. Nalls has had the unique opportunity to purchase his own British Harrier Jump Jet. Find out how this retired Lt.
