WHITTIER, Alaska, May 22 (UPI) -- A group of tourists boating through Prince William Sound in Alaska captured video of a glacier partially collapsing and dropping chunks of ice into the water.

Jonathan Huensch captured the video May 16 and posted it to YouTube after he and other tourists aboard the M/V Klondike Express, which operates the 26 Glacier Cruise, witnessed the glacier collapse and an ensuing large wave, which appears to be heading straight for the boat when the video ends.

Huensch said the video ended before the wave reaches the boat because he was worried about his camera getting wet, despite assurances from the captain via loudspeaker that the wave is "farther away than it looks."
