Toolbox Bodensee e.V., an electronics-minded nonprofit youth group based in Markdorf, said the Floppy Orgel -- Floppy Organ in English -- was constructed from 49 floppy disk drives connected to an Arduino Uno controller board running a code to translate MIDI signals from a keyboard into motor pulses for the drives.
