GRINGELSTAD, Sweden, April 9 (UPI) -- A Swedish man who found a GoPro camera with an intact memory card in the woods discovered the camera had fallen from a skydiver and filmed its own 10,000-foot drop.

YouTube user Kristoffer Orstadius, who shared the video on the site, said his father found the camera in a wooded area in Gringelstad and discovered the intact memory card contained footage showing how the camera was dropped by a skydiver and fell about 10,000 feet to the ground.

The video was on YouTube for one day before the skydiver was identified as Everod resident Tobias Persson.

The camera falls from the skydiver around the video's 1:30 mark and records its fall. The camera appears to survive the impact on the ground and continues to film from inside a patch of grass.
