The California Highway Patrol said officers attempted to pull the SUV over Monday morning in Ventura County after a report of a suspected drunk driver and the pursuit turned into a slow-speed chase on the eastbound 101 Freeway when the driver, who was talking on a cellphone, refused to pull over. The suspect, still talking on the phone, got out of the vehicle and was arrested about 7:30 a.m. The identities of the suspect and whoever he was speaking to on the cellphone have not been released.
