The event in Lima, organized by Andrea Lanatta, featured hundreds of dogs, rabbits and other animal couples tying the knot in ceremonies and receiving wedding certificates. Advertisement The participants included Mia and Jimmy, a pair of hedgehogs who made use of a tiny veil for their special day. Lanatta said the event was aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and encouraging people to clean up after their pets.
