The spy agency has been tweeting since June, and they apparently decided to point out flaws in the plot of the movie Argo while they were celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Iran hostage crisis, which the film is based on. Advertisement The crisis was a diplomatic one, where 52 American diplomats were held hostage by Iran for 444 days, until negotiations assured their release.
