LANGELY, Va., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- The CIA took to Twitter on Friday to correct plot points of the movie Argo in a "reel vs. real" series of tweets.

The spy agency has been tweeting since June, and they apparently decided to point out flaws in the plot of the movie Argo while they were celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Iran hostage crisis, which the film is based on.

The crisis was a diplomatic one, where 52 American diplomats were held hostage by Iran for 444 days, until negotiations assured their release. The film is based on a mission where a few of the hostages were rescued by the CIA.
