Henderson jumped into a 25-foot ravine near the home and continued running, police said. The suspect's dog, a pit bull-husky mix named Bo, then approached officers and was told by police to "go get him."
Police said Bo abided by the request and took off running after his owner.
Officers followed Bo to where Henderson was hiding in some tall grass.
Henderson was taken into custody and officers discovered methamphetamine and suspected meth lab materials inside the home. The suspect was charged with failure to obey police, unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
