Consumer group Which? said 76 samples of goat cheese from stores in eight locations across Britain were tested by Professor Chris Elliott at Queen's University Belfast in Northern Ireland. Advertisement Elliott and his team found six of the samples contained 50 percent or more cheese derived from the milk of sheep. Three additional samples contained up to 5 percent cheese from sheep. "These results reinforce the need to strengthen checks to ensure people are really getting what they are paying for. We will be following up on our findings with the companies and Food Standards Agency," Which? said in a statement. The group did not identify the offending brands or stores from the analysis.
