LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- A video showing a moth and a tick being pulled from a man's ear with tweezers has gone viral on YouTube.

A man, identified in the video as Mikey, complains of a moth having flown into his ear when he attempted to swat it on the side of his head.

Jacob Stanfield, who posted the video to YouTube, identified the man to Buzzfeed as Michael Gorman and said the incident took place at a mutual friend's birthday party in Lee's Summit, Mo.

The footage then shows a woman using tweezers to first extract a tick from Gorman's ear before turning her attentions to the moth, which proved more difficult to catch. The woman was able to pull the live moth out of Gorman's ear after two minutes of unsuccessful attempts.

"Oh my God," Gorman says in relief once the bugs were removed.

Stanfield said he threw the moth outside.

"This huge friggin' guy had a bug fly in his ear," the video's description reads. "We thought it was a little white moth, but what came out is unbelievable! CAUTION: Prepare for the heebie jeebies!"
