Bear cub takes a stroll through Oregon drug store

There were no sightings of the cubs mother and he was in contact with humans, which means he cannot be released into the wild.

ASHLAND, Ore., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- A one-month old bear cub surprised shoppers as he strolled through a Rite Aid pharmacy in Oregon Sunday.

He started in a local motel before hopping through the window, crossing the street and entering the Rite Aid.

Customers took video and pictures on their phones before police scooped the little bear into a shopping basket. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife took the cub to a rehab center or zoo.

Authorities said he could not be put back in the wild because he was in contact with humans. There were no sightings of the cub's mother.
