BERLIN, Pa., Oct. 21 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania clerk foiled a would-be robbery by spraying a can of Raid bee and wasp killer in the masked woman's face.

Annabelle Miller, a clerk at the CSI Coalfield Mini Market in Berlin, said a masked woman came into the store Sunday night and demanded Miller fill a black bag with cash.

Miller said she instead picked up a can of Raid bug spray and aimed it at the woman's face. She said she waited a moment before spraying the would-be robber.

"She just stood there and then started walking out the door, and I kept spraying her as she was walking," Miller told WJAC-TV.

The clerk said there usually isn't much trouble at the store during the night shift.

"I mean, we have the occasional drunks, but no one's ever been out of line," Miller said. "I like it; I like working 'cat eye.' I don't think she's coming back."
