VALRICO, Fla., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- A Chili's spokesman confirmed a Florida worker was fired for taking shirtless pictures in the restaurant's kitchen and posting them on Facebook.

The pictures, posted online by a man using the name Justin Speekz, show the worker shirtless in the kitchen of the Chili's in Valrico and two of the snapshots show the man shirtless on a food preparation table.

The pictures were labeled "Sexy Cooks of Chili's" and the restaurant was tagged in the post. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, which regulates restaurants, said there did not appear to be any violations in the pictures because no food was being prepared at the time. The restaurant passed a surprise inspection after the pictures were posted.

A Chili's spokesman released a statement saying the worker has been fired.

"Chili's clearly does not encourage this type of behavior in our restaurants. We maintain very high standards of food quality, safety and cleanliness and took immediate steps to ensure the restaurant continues to follow these requirements. Additionally, we ended this team member's employment after learning of his conduct."

The post appears to have been removed from Speekz's Facebook page.
