NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- New Orleans police said a stolen cellphone used to take pictures of armed robbery suspects uploaded the snapshots to the victim's cloud account.

The New Orleans Police Department said two armed men approached three young women at about 4 p.m. Oct. 10 and demanded their purses and phones.

Investigators said the men used one of the victims' phones to take multiple pictures of themselves, including a picture of the two suspects and a third man holding what appear to be handguns. Police were able to retrieve the photos from the victim's cloud account.

Police said the photos helped to identify one of the men, Darious Anderson, 20, and he is being sought along with the second suspect, whose identity is not known to police.
