Prosecutor Victoria Ojo said Aullakh was seen pleasuring himself while sitting in the public gallery of a courtroom. The court proceedings that inspired Aullakh's alleged excitement were not revealed.

"It is a case where the defendant has entered the public gallery in court and its alleged that he pulled out his private parts in public view and started to masturbate," Ojo said.

Ojo said Aullakh "continued with his actions" while he was being escorted out of the courtroom by police.

Aullakh is due back in court Oct. 17.
