NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- A New York homeless man said he avoids having to sleep on the pavement by getting women to take him home with them.

Joe, 26, a Boston native who said his mother threw him out when she found his drug stash, said he can make up to $150 panhandling on the streets of Manhattan in a given day, but he spends most of his money on keeping up his appearances -- as well as on drugs and booze.

Joe said he goes home with women three to four nights a week.

"I do homelessness a little differently," Joe told Elite Daily. "I might sleep on cardboard two or three nights a week, but I literally wake up every single day and do whatever the [expletive] I want."

He said there's no real secret to his seduction technique.

"It's not like I forgot how to get (women) just because I became homeless," he said.
