FLORENCE, Italy, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The new uniforms of Colombia's national women's cycling team are raising eyebrows with a flesh-colored stripe that resembles partial nudity.

The uniforms, which had their first outing during the weekend at the Tour of Tuscany, feature a flesh-colored stripe across the lower torso that some social media commentators said looks like the uniforms had the fabric removed from the groin area.

The team, sponsored by capital city Bogota and backed by the Colombian Ministry of Sport, has yet to comment on the uniform uproar.
