Black cat rushes onto soccer pitch during match

BARCELONA, Spain, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- The soccer match between Barcelona and Elche Sunday was interrupted when a black cat rushed onto the pitch a minute into the game, causing laughter.

The cat gave security a good chase as it dashed across the field. Barcelona manager Luis Enrique and president Josep Maria Bartomeu showed their lighter side as they laughed from the stands.

Despite the bad omen, Barcelona beat Elche 3-0.
