A Washington woman is being charged with felony second-degree assault after she allegedly attacked another female at a barbecue because she felt that her shorts were too short.
Alica Hanson was at a work party that was being hosted by the owner of a tree service company that operates near Snohomish when the alleged assault occurred. The 25-year-old reportedly went up to the girlfriend of a company employee and said her shorts "were too short for the BBQ party."
Hanson then began "acting in an aggressive manner" and eventually punched the victim, jumped on top her and pulled out her hair extensions, the Daily Herald reported.
Other partygoers broke up the fight and called police. Sheriff's deputies found the victim with a swollen left eye and observed "a pile of blond hair extensions on a table." Bones in her face were also determined to be broken.
This is the first time Hanson has ever been in trouble with the law.
