MUHLENBERG TOWNSHIP, Pa., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Pennsylvania police were unable to stay neutral about a man who allegedly stole more than $200 worth of Swiss cheese.

Elijah Eason was charged with retail theft and brought to the Berks County Jail after he was allegedly caught with four logs of Swiss cheese crammed in his pants. The suspect allegedly swiped the logs, which are valued between $52 and $55 each, from a Giant Food Store.

A store security officer reported seeing Eason "waddling when he walked" and followed him outside. When the officer confronted Eason about the cheesy contents in his chinos, he allegedly responded, "What cheese?" WFMZ reported.

Police searched Eason and discovered the cheese. After he was taken into custody, officers were able to link Eason to a previous Swiss cheese theft at another Giant via a store surveillance video.

During the earlier theft, Eason could allegedly be seen with "visual bulges in the legs of his pants."
