WATSONVILLE, Calif., July 14 (UPI) -- California police believe that a naked man who allegedly attacked officers in Watsonville was experiencing a "narcotic-induced reaction."

The suspect, Ramiro Mora, was taken to the hospital after he allegedly jumped on cars and attempted to enter a home before attacking a police officer.

When police responded, they found Mora "experiencing excited delirium type symptoms, which could be fatal if not treated," according to Sgt. Michael Ridgway.

Police attempted to restrain the 22-year-old, and he allegedly hit one officer in the head.

Mora was identified after his clothing and identification were found in a garage, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported.

It's likely that Mora will be arrested for trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer.
