NEW DELHI, July 11 (UPI) -- A valet had a bad day at work after he crashed a $250,000 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder into Le Meridien hotel in New Delhi, India on July 3 causing $330,000 in damages.

Arun Kumar was attempting to park the Lamborghini when it suddenly accelerated, slammed into another vehicle, spun away and rammed into a cement barrier of the building. BigBoyToyz, a luxury car dealer in New Delhi, shared photos of the destruction on Facebook.

The damage is more than the estimated cost of the car because the owner, Abid Fateh Mohmmed Khatri, included the steep cost of importing the vehicle, making the value of the Lamborghini total to about half a million dollars. He also claims the hotel is trying to avoid paying the cost of damages because it was an accident.

Kumar was reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment and was discharged later that day.
