CLEARWATER, Fla., June 20 (UPI) -- If it hadn't been captured on video, he might not believe it.

Florida motorcyclist Michael Smith was able to walk away unharmed after a car struck him while he was riding his bike through an intersection in Clearwater.

The impact sent Smith somersaulting through the air, but he walked away a few seconds later without being injured.

The driver was ticketed for making an improper left turn and driving with a suspended license. Smith was ticketed for not having a Florida motorcycle license and his bike was totaled.

It could have been worse.

"Wow, that's crazy, I straight up walked away. Wait, go back," Smith said when WTSP showed him the crash video. "I was literally upside down thinking, 'I can land on my head or my feet.' I didn't have a helmet on, as you can see."

Smith wasn't scared off by the crash and he has already gotten a new motorcycle.
