PHU LUANG , Thailand, June 12 (UPI) -- A video that has been circulating on the Internet shows a tourist in Thailand stopping a charging elephant with his bare hands.

In the clip, which was filmed in the jungles of the Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary, a young man simply waves his hand at a charging elephant -- and the animal stops and turns around.

The large animal may have just been playing, but the man in the video and the camera operator are lucky either way.
