MERCER COUNTY, Ohio, June 10 (UPI) -- An Indiana man who led police on a farm tractor chase across state lines was arrested and hit with felony fleeing and eluding charges.
The low-speed chase began in Adams County and ended in Mercer County, Ohio, after about two hours. When Dustin Clouse's tractor broke down, police used a Taser on him after he failed to shut off or exit the vehicle.
According to a release, the 20-year-old attempted to hit a deputy and also tried to ram several patrol cars while driving at 18 mph.
Facebook user Ashley Baumer caught the chase on video.
The chase originally started when Indiana police responded to a vandalism report and found Clouse on the tractor.
"This was an unusual pursuit, we are happy that no one from the public, Mr. Clouse, or law enforcement was injured," said Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey, WANE reported. "Law enforcement agencies from both states worked well together to bring this to a safe conclusion."
