NEW YORK, June 9 (UPI) -- A New York Rangers fan, who was trying to show off his or her skywriting skills in the sky above Manhattan over the weekend, was ripped on Twitter after having some issues.

The seemingly inexperienced skywriter appeared to have trouble with spelling and spacing while writing "Rangers" above Union Square.

The Rangers will look to get out of 2-0 hole when they take on the Los Angeles Kings at Madison Square Garden on Monday in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.
