TRUSSVILLE, Ala., June 6 (UPI) -- A man who was in the 2006 racing/comedy movie Talladega Nights: the Ballad of Ricky Bobby is being charged with reckless driving after he was allegedly involved in a five-vehicle crash in Alabama.

Luke Bigham played 10-year-old Ricky Bobby in the film.

According to the Trussville Police Department, Bigham was driving his Lexus at a speed that exceeded 80 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Three people were hurt in the crash, but Bigham was the only one taken to the hospital, the Tribune reported.

Police Chief Don Sivley said that Bigham was knocked out upon impact and said he didn't know what happened.

There was no evidence that alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
