Woman accused of threatening sister with knife for not helping her get beer

OCOEE, Fla., May 29 (UPI) -- A Florida woman is accused of getting hot under the collar after her sister refused to help her get a cold one.

Amber Orman was arrested in Ocoee this weekend and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse after she allegedly threatened her sister with a large knife for not taking her to the store to get beer.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the 29-year-old woman screaming at her sister "and approaching her in a threatening manner."

The sister told police that after she denied Orman's request for a ride, the suspect "said she was going to get a knife and stab me to death" and then grabbed a knife.

Orman was hit with the child abuse charge for allegedly pulling her nephew's hair when he tried to call 911.

According to Orman, she grabbed the knife to defend herself when her family attacked her "for no reason."
