The 27-year-old heckler, Clark Wong, filed a battery report alleging that Crawford sprayed him in the face with backwash causing "serious irritation to his eyes."
Wong was behind the Chicago bench during the alleged spraying incident and he was ejected from the game soon thereafter for "taunting the players."
On Wednesday, Wong declined to comment about the matter to the Chicago Tribune and referred all questions to his lawyer. He told the paper he has been getting death threats.
According to a LAPD spokesman, the police are not investigating the matter.
Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said he only found out about the report on Wednesday.
Q also said he just heard about the TMZ report.
