Stanley Hill was traveling on a commercial flight from Colombia to Houston when one of the "62 small rubber sacks of cocaine" he had in his stomach exploded, Local 2 reported. Hill was not the pilot of the plane, but it is possible that his security clearances may have made it easier for him to try and smuggle in the drugs. The 49-year-old has been charged with felony possession of drugs with intent to deliver a controlled substance. According to NBC 5, Hill works for a small regional air carrier and has two children. He is still being cared for at the hospital while a Houston police officer guards his room.
