The collision sent Gindlesperger's car skidding about 50 feet down the road.
Neither man was injured during the crash and Martin was "found sitting on the curb with bloodshot eyes, flushed skin, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol emanating from him," the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
When the 24-year-old was asked if he remembered the crash, Martin responded that he did not crash into anyone.
Martin agreed to do a roadside sobriety test, but it was cancelled because authorities felt he "could not complete it without injuring himself." Martin was charged with a DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and other traffic infractions.
