ANDERSON, Calif., May 15 (UPI) -- A California transient was arrested after police found him sleeping in a garbage bin outside a Taco Bell in Anderson while he was "wrapped up like a burrito."

Anderson Police found Varnel Adamson wrapped up in multiple layers of plastic after receiving a report of an intoxicated man sleeping inside a trash bin near the restaurant.

Adamson was wanted on a parole violation and he was highly intoxicated when officers found him. The 57-year-old reportedly had a small amount of methamphetamine on him at the time of his arrest.

The parolee left the bin voluntarily and was booked into the Shasta County Jail on the outstanding warrant.

He may face drug charges for the meth that was found.
