MOUNT VERNON, Wash., May 9 (UPI) -- A Washington woman could face charges after she allegedly stabbed a Walmart employee because she didn't like her "vibe."

Nancy Reed was having issues with the self-service checkout machine at a Walmart in Mount Vernon when a female employee went to help her out. When Reed was informed that her credit card had been declined, she became upset and began "accusing the mafia of kidnapping her grandchild."

The 60-year-old woman then said she didn't like the employee's "vibe" and allegedly stabbed her with a pair of scissors. A customer and other employees came to the rescue and the scissors were confiscated.

"The staff person got her hair pulled and a fist-full of hair came out," Shannon Haigh of the Mount Vernon police told KOMO. "They were looking out for their customers and each other, and keeping their eye on a person they'd been watching and that they knew that the behavior that was a little bizarre."

While police were en route to the store, the woman began "dancing around and lifting up her dress."

It's unclear how Reed will be charged because it appears that she may have mental health issues.
