BERLIN, Md., May 8 (UPI) --An unnamed Maryland high school senior was arrested and charged with mailing animal feces to Mark Flynn, the vice principal of his school.

Barb Witherow, a spokeswoman for Worcester County Schools, told the Delmarva Daily Times that the student has been suspended for 10 days, the maximum allowable amount of time. "We do promote a respectful and positive learning environment. Any inappropriate or disruptive or illegal activity is not acceptable," she said.

The male student has also been charged with three counts of disturbing activities at school and three counts of molesting a school administrator.

When he was arrested, the man admitted to mailing the fecal matter saying it was dog and cow poop.

The Postal Service will not pursue federal charges.
