Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe WINDERMERE, Fla., May 7 (UPI) -- Three men dressed up as ninjas were caught on camera carrying out a home invasion at a mansion in Windermere, Fla. During the invasion, one of the ninjas took a fedora from one of the victims and wore it throughout the attack. Bill Kitchen and his partner Camilo Espinel were held at gunpoint and their faces were covered with pillowcases during the invasion. Advertisement "They put the guns right in our faces and made it clear that we had to obey every word, and we did," Kitchen told the Orlando Sentinel. "They had all the control. We were out numbered. They had guns and we didn't. We had no choice but to cooperate." The incident lasted for about an hour and then the thieves took off in Kitchen’s Mercedes. The car was found about three miles away and is being processed by the Orange County Sheriff's Office's Forensics Unit. "When bad things happen, you can either ask yourself, 'Why did this happen to me?' or you can ask yourself, 'Now that it has happened, what am I going to do about it?'" Kitchen told Click Orlando. “I now realize it's pretty silly to tell everybody in the world that I'm on a Hawaiian vacation or we're at this restaurant, or that restaurant and having a big time with our friends.” Advertisement Florida police officers and the FBI are trying to determine if this incident could be related to five home invasions at affluent properties in Collier County.
