BOCA RATON , Fla., April 17 (UPI) -- A Florida man was arrested on theft charges after the owner of the business he allegedly burglarized recognized him from his Instagram account.

According to Nick Eddy, the co-owner of Florida E-cigs and Vapes in Boca Raton, the 18-year-old suspect follows his business on Instagram and is a regular customer at the store.

After Eddy and the police were able to identify Tanner Bradshaw, he was arrested on burglary and grand theft charges for stealing about $2,000 worth of e-cigarettes and related products.

"You want to kick in our front door and take our products, you're going to have 10 hours before us or the police find you,” Eddy told CBS 12.

E-cigs and Vapes has around 350 followers on Instagram.

"People post their information out there on a daily basis, and luckily for us this kid put his information out there,” Eddy said. "He comes in and shakes my hand on Friday night, and next thing you know he's throwing a rock through our window on Sunday."
