EERIE, Ind., April 16 (UPI) -- Some social media users are saying that a YouTube video showing a young man appearing to be kicked in the head by a train conductor while taking a selfie is a hoax.

Real or not, it still looks painful.

In Jared Michael’s “Kicked in the head by a train” video, he can be seen in front of a moving train before a fast-moving foot enters the frame and boots him in the left side of the face.

“I tried to take a selfie while a train passed a ‘safe’ distance behind,” Michael wrote on YouTube. “I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head. I messed up.”

The video has already received almost 23,000 views, but some people think it’s just too good to be true.
