Twitter employee live-tweets the birth of her daughter

Claire Diaz-Ortiz tweeted throughout her labor on Saturday.

BUENOS AIRES, April 6 (UPI) -- Claire Diaz-Ortiz is so committed to Twitter, where she works as "manager of social innovation," that she live-tweeted the birth of her daughter, Lucia, on Saturday.

Diaz-Ortiz, who lives in Buenos Aires with her husband, blogs from the Twitter handle @claire. She started her labor by Googling "Am I in Labor?!?"



Diaz-Ortiz went on to tweet her contractions, her her car troubles on the way to the hospital and eventually, the birth of her baby girl, Lucia.











Lucia already has her own Twitter handle, @Lucia.



Diaz-Ortiz's labor adventures attracted a number of celebrity followers, including Mia Farrow, Bethenny Frankel and Christy Turlington.
