April 2 (UPI) -- “Did that just happen?”

That was Chicago weatherman Demetrius Ivory’s question when a member of the WGN Morning News production crew walked across the set while he was trying to give the forecast Monday morning.

Apparently a pizza had arrived…maybe.

Ivory kept his composure after the disturbance, but after he was interrupted not once, but twice more by multiple staff members, he gave up and let the weather segment finish without him.

Afterward, he posted a clip of the broadcast on Facebook with the caption, “WGN Morning News ruining my Emmy.”

Although Ivory might not have found it all that funny, viewers enjoyed the apparent April Fool’s prank.

“That IS your Emmy!! You just proved it's all about keeping the viewers happy!! Nice job!! :):) Hope someone made you laugh like I did!!!” wrote one happy viewer.

“You handled that very well....Misery loves company; Don't let that misery ruin your company. I believe you will earn an Emmy. Keep up the great work and as always make it a great week!” wrote someone else.
