March must be lucky for a Virginia couple who won the lottery three times in 15 days last month.

Calvin and Zatera Spencer started things off by winning $1 million in the March 12 Powerball drawing and followed it up when Calvin won $50,000 with 10 winning tickets in the Virginia Lottery’s Pick 4 game on March 26.

The following day, Calvin kept things rolling by buying a winning 100 Million Cash Extravaganza Scratcher ticket at a 7-Eleven that netted the Spencers another $1 million cash prize.

“Baby, we did it again!” Calvin told his wife after buying the winning ticket.

The Spencers opted to take a one-time cash payout and took home $681,000 before taxes.

“I haven’t seen anything like it in my 12 years here,” lottery spokesman John Hagerty told the Virginian Pilot. “People in the office couldn’t believe it was them when they showed up with the winning ticket.”

The lucky couple plan to keep playing.

“We’re not finished yet,” Calvin said as they claimed their latest prizes.
