How cool would it be to see your child’s imagination come to life?

Thanks to his unique skillset, Daniel Hashimoto, a dad who works as an after-effects specialist for Dreamworks, gets to do just that.

Daniel films his three-year-old son during his playtime and adds special effects afterwards.

Do you remember playing the floor is lava?

Jamie, who loves superheroes and sci-fi, often pretends to be his favorite characters and his dad uses movie magic to transform his son’s make-believe into cinematic home action movies that see Jamie interrupt breakfast with his Iron Man repulsor ray, zip up to the ceiling Batman-style on a grappling gun, and even slice up some shelves at the local toy store weilding a light saber.

Actually, Jamie has sort of a thing for wrecking toy stores:

And, like most toddlers, for wrecking the house:

Hashimoto posts the videos online as youtube user Action Movie Kid.
