Florida man arrested and charged with raping 8-month-old female dog on his front porch

A Florida man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with two counts of animal cruelty after his neighbors told police that they witnessed him raping his 8-month-old female dog on the porch of his Daytona Beach apartment.

James Guy Bull, 61, allegedly attacked the dog on several occasions. "They heard the animal yelp and cry but [Bull] continued with the conduct," the Daytona Beach Police Department said in a report.

One of neighbors heard a "dog in distress" at Bull's house and then saw the suspect pull “up his pants and put the dog down.”

At the time of the alleged assault, the “small light brown mix dog” was chained to a post on the front porch.

The "clearly emaciated" dog was brought to the Halifax Humane Society for medical treatment.

The DBPD report described the sexually-traumatized dog as “skittish” and “obviously afraid.”
