SERENGETI, Tanzania, March 14 (UPI) -- A woman on safari in Tanzania snapped the pictures of a lifetime when a young cheetah climbed onto her Land Rover and peered in through the sunroof.

Australian Bobby-Jo Clow, 31, who works as a elephant keeper at a Tanzanian zoo, said she was on safari with a tour group at Serengeti National Park when a juvenile male cheetah approached their Land Rover and climbed atop the vehicle, the Daily Express reported Friday.

Clow said she was able to capture some unique pictures of the animal when it looked in through the windshield and later peered in through the open sunroof.

"It was wildlife heaven. It was so overwhelming. I was actually crying through my viewfinder at times," Clow said. "I wasn't scared, I was in total awe of how majestic and glorious this young cheetah was."

Clow said she captured several shots of the cheetah before it was carried away by its mother.

"He ducked down and peered through the windscreen, like he was trying to see who else was in the car," she said. "My hands were shaking so much with excitement that I was very surprised that my shots were in focus."

"It made me feel extremely happy," Clow said.
